Foundation text of Chinese Medicine

Everybody know that Chinese Medicine has 4 classical texts, they are:

• Huang Di Nei Jing, or The Yellow Emperor’s Classic of Internal Medicine, which has 2 Volumes, Su Wen and Ling Shu.
• The Eighty-one Difficult (Nan Jing)
• ShangHan Lun
• Shennong’s Materia Medica

The above texts are mostly focus on Medicine part, but we have known that Chinese Medicine is come from ancient cosmology. What’s the relation between Chinese Medicine and the ancient cosmology? They are the real foundation of Chinese Medicine. There are two most famous texts, are the foundation of Chinese Medicine.

• The Book of Changes (I Ching/YiJing)
• Tao Te Ching

So Sun Simiao, the king of medicine in China, said, If a person is not understand I Ching, he is not good enough to be a doctor.
